Where to go skiing on the weekend before New Year

Here are some tips on where to go skiing on the weekend of 28 and 29 December.

VALLE D'AOSTA A sunny weekend in the Aosta Valley. We suggest skiing in Champoluc, the ski resort of the Monterosa Ski area, where you can combine pilates lessons with your skiing days. VENETO A sunny weekend is also expected in Veneto. We recommend a stop in San Vito di Cadore, in particular for families with children who can have fun at the Neve Sole Park with descents on sleds, bobs and rafts. PIEDMONT In Piedmont beautiful weather with sunshine on Saturday and Sunday. We propose to go for two turns in Bardonecchia. Here, Sunday 29 December, the Winter Big Opening will be held with the Jerry Calà Concert Show. LOMBARDY A sunny weekend is also expected in Lombardy. We recommend going skiing in Bormio, one of the most renowned places in the area, where you can also attend the men's downhill skiing World Cup on the Stelvio slope. TRENTINO ALTO ADIGE Sunny weekend in Trentino Alto Adige. In Trentino we offer a weekend in Lavarone, in the Alpe Cimbra ski area, where on December 29 you can participate in the evening "La Zena Poreta" to relive the emotions of the moment when you once gathered around the table telling the anecdotes of the day and lived the true warmth of the family. The idea is precisely to revive this atmosphere made of soft lights, good genuine food at km 0 and the background music that will surround this magical evening. In South Tyrol, however, we suggest going skiing in Bressanone in the Plose ski area where, after a day on the skis, you can take a walk through the Christmas markets, one of the most beautiful in South Tyrol. EMILIA ROMAGNA A sunny weekend is also expected in the Apennines. We suggest skiing in the Cimone area which inaugurated the winter season on December 24th. Among the novelties, there are two new lifts: two latest generation covered rugs that will allow skiers, both experts and beginners, to move faster and away from the weather.
