Germany comes from the new project that promises the solution for the winters without snow: a tunnel similar to a "sunroof" located on the slopes for longer storage the snowpack and defeat the winters too warm.

The climate predictions speak of constant increases in temperatures and shorter ski seasons ever. These predictions of climatologists are just a smokescreen for winter tourism in the regions that have their main resource. And then here is the solution: the birth of the project Downhill Bubbles that might be the solution for the'' winter without snow and ski areas located at low altitudes.
The creator of this idea is pioneering Günther Aloys, hotelier and Chairman of the Tourism Association of Ischgl, one of the most famous Austrian ski resorts. The purpose is to ensure always perfect snow conditions regardless of the outdoor temperature. The tunnel is to be the solution to the problem of global warming that threatens to cripple the Austrian winter tourism which is a nice slice of the national economy. The structure looks like a kind of aluminum cage can open and close depending on the weather favorable or not. But there's more: inside the show is multiplied with music and projection of light that will allow you to ski at night. At best you could lengthen the ski season in the whole year, even in summer and lower altitudes. "La Leitner, the world's leading ski lifts, seems to believe in the project and has taken charge of the study.
Now it remains to carry out the feasibility study, but more than anything else remains to be seen if it will appeal to skiers.
