The champion of swimming, interviewed by Dario Puppo, revealed his relationship with the mountain and analyzed the postponement of the Tokyo Games, the situation linked to Covid-19 and much more.

Federica Pellegrini, Livigno and the snow? A curious weave, for an absolute star of Italian sport that, in the structures of the "Little Tibet", often trains as it should have done in these days thinking of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, then postponed for a year.

The Tokyo Games will be the last big appointment of a formidable career, also in 2021: “I was well advanced, but the IOC could not have made a better decision. You will have to start from scratch, but it will be important to train early because swimming is a particular sport, where sensitivity with water is fundamental. I have never been stuck for a month and a half in my entire career, but I don't want to see it in a negative way despite the postponement of the Olympics will not help me, since I will be 32 years old in August ".
If the statements made in recent days by Federica that all attention is focused on the resumption of football in the first place, "represented a provocation and the desire to see other sports protected, not an attack on football that we all know how much income level ”, the Venetian champion then spoke of her relationship with Livigno and the mountains. "It is my second home and I hope to return as soon as possible, now I am also going outside of training and it is an ideal place in many ways".

I tried, but there was no need to hurt me the year before the Olympics, but in the not too near future I will try again ".
Pellegrini who spent New Year's Eve, in the last two years, right in the Alta Valtellina locality, deepening his friendship with Arianna Fontana, the last blue standard-bearer at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games, as Federica was to the summer ones of Rio 2016. “With Arianna we celebrated together, you can give me some lessons on skates. The standard bearer for Tokyo? I have expressed myself in favor of Stefano Tempesti (goalkeeper of the "Settebello" of the water polo and legend of the national team), if there will be my nomination go to him, even if I don't decide. It would deserve it as well as the whole movement of Italian water polo, which has made great results in all these years ".
