Flavio Roda and a DPCM that displeases everyone: "The basic knowledge of the mountain world is missing"

The number 1 of the FISI commented on the new government guidelines, with the plants that will only reopen from 7 January 2021. "We are not even taken into consideration".

A Prime Ministerial Decree, the one announced yesterday evening by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, which first of all displeases the world of snow with the closure imposed until 7 January 2021 and the Christmas holidays that will go away for the whole mountain sector. Federal President Flavio Roda commented it clearly, with an official statement from the FISI house: "The measures of the new Dpcm do not take into account the world of mountains and winter sports - Roda's words - There is no 'is confrontation, there is a lack of basic knowledge of the mountain world, which has respect for the rules in its DNA. It seems that all the contagion may come from the world of skiing, which is closed for no real reason ". And then again: “We do sports, following very strict protocols and in compliance with the rules. Ours is the only sport that requires maximum compliance with regulations throughout Europe. And that represents the driving force for winter tourism, which generates enormous induced activities. But there is no respect. We are not even considered. Those who love skiing and would like to practice it must stay at home, the installers must keep closed, high-level athletes must work wonders to be able to train. For them it's a job, but it doesn't seem to be considered ”. “What's the point of all this? - Roda asks the Government - I think the authorities should have more respect for the mountain world and what it means for Italy. This Dpcm only demonstrates ignorance on the matter ”.
