In FISI the meeting between Roda, Ghezzi and the representatives of the mountain for the season of the real restart

In the coming weeks, a document will be presented to the Government that can give the guarantees for an activity in complete safety, after a year and a half of suffering. Federal number 1: "We must be ready".

A programmatic meeting was held at the FISI headquarters in Milan in view of the winter season 2021/22, with the aim of laying the foundations for the new protocol for the resumption of economic, social and mountain sports activities. Present Flavio Roda (President of FISI), Valeria Ghezzi (President of ANEF, the National Association of Cable Car Operators) accompanied by Renzo Minella, Giuseppe Cuc (President of the National College of Ski Instructors), Gianni Poncet (Deputy Vice President of AMSI ), the FISI Medical Commission with the President Andrea Panzeri and doctors Giovanni Montani and Simone Porcelli, and a representative of the track homologators with Ernesto Rigoni and Elena Gaja. During the meeting, the need emerged to make the reality of the mountains known as much as possible, which unfortunately remains unknown to many. After a year and a half of substantial blocking of the activity it is essential to restart with well-defined bases, for this reason in the coming weeks a document will be drawn up to be submitted to the Government on the opening of the facilities for tourists and the performance of competitive activities in full security. "We must be ready, in light of the situation that is emerging and that could change in the coming weeks and months - explained Roda - It has been shown that skiing and winter sports activities in general are at low risk of contagion. , for this reason we are convinced that they can be practiced at every level by observing the right rules ”.
