After the news about the closure of the lifts until February 15, South Tyrol also thinks about it and decides not to open.

According to rumors, even South Tyrol will not open the ski lifts on January 18. Only three days ago, in a press conference, the President of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Arno Kompatscher, had established that on the 18th he would open the slopes only for residents since the new decree should provide for a ban on travel between regions even in the area yellow. But the President had also stressed that he would close everything if the epidemiological situation worsened.
Today Arno Kompatscher should formalize the news with the new ordinance.
