The main novelty for skiing introduced by the Festivity Decree, approved by the government last December 23 and entered into force on December 25, consists in the obligation to use a respiratory protection mask of type FFP2 to cover the nose and mouth in order to access to closed ski lifts such as cable cars, gondola lifts and chairlifts that use the roof, even in the white area.

The decree more generally provides for the obligation of the Ffp2 mask to attend sports competitions even outdoors and the prohibition of consuming food and drinks in indoor events. To access the Hotels and related services, the Green Pass Standard is required (also obtainable from a swab), while for access to bars and restaurants also on the slopes, proof of vaccination or recovery from Covid-19 is required, through the exhibition of the Super Green pass.
To access closed lifts such as cable cars, gondola lifts and chairlifts that use the cover, the Green Pass is required in the white or yellow zone, while the Super Green Pass is required in the orange zone. In some geographical areas, the Green Pass is also required for access to open facilities.
In the 12 valleys of the Dolomiti Superski, the punctual verification of the Green Pass (normal or reinforced) is foreseen through a skipass activation system that requires the daily validation of the same through the Dolomiti Superski application (or through the Dolomiti Superski website or at the columns Ticket Box for issuing ski passes purchased online or at the ticket office).
