Coronavirus. In Valle d’Aosta the plants will travel at 100% of the permitted hourly flow

The Aosta Valley is preparing to face the new winter season with the adoption of a health protocol to counter the coronavirus emergency.

Thermal scanners will be placed in the ticket offices of the ski lifts and in closed vehicles it will be mandatory to wear surgical masks or those with equivalent or higher protective power. The “community” mask will only apply to open vehicles. Users are asked to check their body temperature before going to the departure stations or to check it at the ticket offices. To avoid crowds and queues, the lifts will travel with the maximum capacity allowed. "For all types of vehicles in service in Valle d'Aosta, in the winter period - reads the protocol - in order to avoid an increase in waiting times in queues and, consequently, the risk of contagion, plant operators they will guarantee the maximum range and the greatest reduction in travel times, using at the same time as many vehicles as possible online and applying the maximum transport speed allowed by the cableway concession ". The health protocol continues by saying: "Closed vehicles must be ventilated as much as possible and the constant exchange of air necessary to significantly reduce the risk of contagion must be guaranteed. For closed vehicles, exposure to risk is also limited by the reduced stay on vehicles (which, in normal operating conditions, must always be less than 15 minutes on all systems with closed vehicles in the Aosta Valley), from the obligation of a surgical mask for staff and users and hand sanitation before transport, constantly monitored by station agents. At least daily cleaning and sanitation must be carried out on all vehicles ". To avoid queues at the ticket offices, it will be possible to buy ski passes online or through the automatic ticket machines. "The fundamental point of the protocol is the reference to the individual responsibility of all users, who must behave correctly, in particular during the journey, implement correct hygiene measures before and after transport, as well as avoid behaviors that can increase the risk of contagion" commented the Regional Councilor for Transport, Luigi Bertschy.

Argentera

Argentera
