The President of the Aosta Valley, Erik Lavevaz, during a speech on The Breakfast '' program on Radio Capital, declared that, if the Region were to become a white zone, the plants would still remain closed. Starting the winter season now would not make sense.
"It becomes difficult to imagine for a week the opening of the ski lifts and all the rest - explains President Erik Lavevaz - The work that was done to open on February 15 had a sense linked to an opening that could last months . The ski season is undoubtedly over. We await confirmation of the data: they are comforting but slightly increasing as regards infections so we must remain cautious. We cannot hope to remain in the white zone for more than a few weeks. The opening of museums and gyms will not be automatic ”.
"It is unlikely - concluded the President of the Aosta Valley - to open everything for a week and then close everything again shortly after. We have to think in perspective ".
Furthermore, Erik Lavevaz explained to La Repubblica that with the ban on moving between Regions they would not have customers and that as regards the plants, the losses reached 30-40 million.

Argentera
Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
