3BMeteo meteorologists confirm the forecasts of last week, cold and unstable currents arriving from Scandinavia will cause a temperature drop that is also significant, starting with Northern Italy.

On Monday, October 28th, we could at least greet the anticyclone that accompanied us in these last days of abnormal heat. In the course of next week it will in fact be ousted by the descent of cold and unstable currents of Scandinavian origin that will bring a cooler climate to our regions with a drop in temperatures that will also become sensitive in the second half of the week.
The perturbation will bring with it a certain unsteadiness that with the drop in temperatures could cause the Snow to appear locally up to altitudes of about 1500 meters.

NOAA: torna El Niño, come potrebbe influenzare l'inverno 2026-2027 sulle Alpi?
La NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) ha pubblicato il 9 luglio il nuovo aggiornamento sul fenomeno climatico ENSO (El Niño-Southern Oscillation), confermando che El Niño è ormai in pieno sviluppo e che continuerà a rafforzarsi nei prossimi mesi. Secondo i climatologi statunitensi, il fenomeno dovrebbe raggiungere il proprio massimo proprio durante l'inverno boreale 2026-2027, con una probabilità del 97% di persistere fino alla primavera 2027 e con possibilità sempre più elevate di raggiungere un'intensità tra le più elevate osservate dal 1950.
