The large cyclone circulation on most parts of Europe will bring very cool air for the season to Italy as well, further snowfall on the Alps at fairly low altitudes for this time of year.

Tonight, and maybe even tonight, snowfall is expected on most of the Alpine arch on average between 1800 and 2,100 meters, but sometimes even lower on the border areas. In particular, the snow is then expected in Livigno.
For tomorrow there is a low-pressure vortex in isolation on the upper Adriatic that will bring even cooler air to Centronord Italia, temperatures will drop to 2-3 ° C in Northeast and Romagna.
So tomorrow, snowfall is expected in the Eastern Alps on average between 1400 and 1700 meters, with an improvement on the Western Alps. Snow at low altitudes for this period also expected on the Apilines Emilian, Romagna and Tuscan, on average 1600-1900 meters but sometimes up to 1400-1500 meters during the most intense reefs.
Wednesday weather is improving with snowfall on the South Tyrol up to 1500 meters, while the precipitation will be concentrated on the central Apennines, especially on the Adriatic side, where the snow can sometimes fall below 1800-2000 meters. Possible ice creams up to 1500 meters.

Il nuovo aggiornamento della NOAA conferma un ulteriore rafforzamento di El Niño. Per il trimestre ottobre-dicembre sale dal 69 al 75% la probabilità che il fenomeno raggiunga un’intensità mai osservata nella serie storica iniziata nel 1950. Uno scenario che dobbiamo monitorare per capire gli scenari possibili per l’inverno 2026/2027.
