FIS World Snow Day, 225 events in 39 countries to spread the snow sports

This is an initiative of the FIS, which aims to bring younger people to mountain sports and snow. And 'the ideal sequel to the awareness campaign called "Bring Children to the Snow", which is active worldwide since 2007 but so far has not brought tangible results. The World Snow Day 2012 will be the first event to be conducted on a global scale, seeking to unite the world community in celebrating winter sports as part of a healthy lifestyle, and promote global awareness of the importance of cultivating the natural environment.
Countries participants are the United States, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Canada, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, Pakistan, India, Japan, Iceland, Australia, Russia and others. The motto of the event is "Explore, Experience and Enjoy the Snow" and will be continuously shared throughout the world, will surely also very foot of the social network.
The FIS is also collaborating with the European Broadcasting Union ( EBU) to broadcast live the motto of the World Snow Day on January 22 in the world.
