The World Cup ski cross has lived in the day Friday & Igrave; January 9 after his second round of the inaugural race which took place at Nakiska, Canada, on December 6. Fortunately the best of what the world offers & egrave; perhaps the specialty & agrave; pi & ugrave; spectacular freestyle & egrave; distributed this weekend right from resort & agrave; French in which he would have to race four weeks ago.

The twenty-five & egrave; managed to keep ahead in the next curve until the final straight, where the pi & ugrave; young compatriot & egrave; managed to reach it and to challenge it in a head-to-head whose outcome & egrave; was decided only thanks to the photo finish. For Thompson, Olympic champion in charge of specialty & agrave ;, it dell''ottavo success and sixteenth podium of his career in the World Cup. For Simmerling, however, this & egrave; fifth career podium in the maximum world circuit. On the step pi & ugrave; the bottom of the podium & egrave; placed the 'home athlete Alizee Baron. For this venitudenne & egrave; fourth career podium at the World Cup, the first after the third place almost three years ago in the German leg of Bischofswiesen.
Fourth place went to Sweden's Anna Holmlund, while fifth place is & egrave; classified the 'idol Ophelie David, class' '76, winning three World Cups General and seven World Cups specialty & agrave; between the seasons 2003/04 and 2009/10.
The two Italian in this race, Sabine Wolfsgruber and Debora Pixner, failed to qualify for the quarter-finals and finished thirty-first and thirty-third respectively.
In the men's German Andreas Schauer twenty-nine years to accomplish on January 18, & egrave; managed to hit his first career success in the World Cup. The 'only other time I had managed to get on the podium was two seasons ago in Sochi. In the big final seemed looming German one-two with Daniel Bohnacker to precede Schauer, but the left-hander counterslope Bohnacker made an error that made him fall, leaving the way open to the fellow that you & egrave; missed the 'opportunities & agrave; to win the race. Behind you Schauer & egrave; ranked the French Olympic and world champion in office Jean Frederic Chapuis, the sixth career podium in the World Cup. Third place & egrave; twenty-four went to the Austrian Johannes Rohrweck, in his second career podium in the maximum world circuit after the second-place finish in last season Kreischberg. The winner of the first race of the season is Thomas Zangerl & egrave; ranked sixth after falling in the semifinals following a contact with the French Arnaud Bovolenta, then the winner of the small final. This double-dip in the semi-final & egrave; was critical to the third place of Rohrweck, who is fourth & egrave; found myself second behind Schauer and thus qualified for the final. Luck for the 'Austrian & egrave; continued even in the big final, where in the final stretch of the route is from fourth & egrave; regained third for the fall of Bohnacker.
Four Italians present in the race, Stefan Thanei Tomasi and Marco are the two who participated in the second round and finished at the end of the race to the twenty-fourth and twenty-seventh place respectively.
