The Winter Olympics which, after only twenty years, return to the beautiful country, are certainly the triumph of Giovanni Malagò.
The head of the Italian sport had received not a few criticisms, after the failure of Rome's candidacy for the Summer Games of 2024, and he was ready to leave in case of failed positive verdict in Lausanne ("if things had not gone well, as it was "It was right that it was ...", he whispered to the microphones).
Now Malagò rejoices and re-launches, showing his muscles and confirming that he will re-apply for the presidency of Coni: "It is a special moment for me and for the whole country, I am proud to have led a fantastic team that everyone has helped to create. At the beginning it was difficult to identify the peculiarities of our candidacy, but I must say thanks also to those who worked at the beginning of this adventure in 2016, and to all the people who are here, from Diana Bianchedi to Carlo Mornati (he will mention them one by one, ed), for having always believed in Milan-Cortina â€.
The Coni number 1 confirms that "tomorrow (today, ed) the IOC will pay 925 million dollars, you do the calculation ...", then removing some pebbles from the shoes.
