For the third time Flavio Roda was elected president of the Italian Winter Sports Federation. This was decided by the elective assembly held in Milan.

Born in Lizzano in Belvedere (BO) on August 22, 1948 and residing in the village of Vidiciatico in his native country, the last before the ski resort of Corno alle Scale, Roda has collected 73495 votes equal to 79.10%, against 10157 votes of Claudio Ravetto (10.94%), the 8139 votes of Maurizio Paniz (8.77%) and the 970 votes of Franco Vismara (1.04%). The valid votes were 92829, the white cards 68 equal to 0.07%.
"I am very excited," Roda, who has been in charge since 2012, said at the end of the Assembly, "I thank all those who voted for me and the many people who have been by my side." the mistakes of the past and improve what has been done so far.I will be a guarantor of the Federation, I will do what is possible to grow further from every point of view.I would like to dedicate re-election to all our athletes, in the last four years we have evolved in many ways , the FISI must have its own focus on sports and youth activity and on disciplines that perhaps have appeal.Great attention to the future also to the economic phase, we must enter more into the Olympic system, because our Federation has always struggled this aspect with the World Cup that looms in. What will I do in the next days? Starting again with the activity, creating the technical staff that are all expiring to open the best strategy for the future ".
