The Milan-Cortina 2026 goal is on the horizon and another great season to live: the super national ski mountaineering team has started training in Rome.

The 2022/23 vintage has officially begun for the blue senior and under 23 ski mountaineering teams, engaged in the functional tests of the first week of the meeting.
On the eve of the departure for Rome, the FISI President Flavio Roda met the new technical director Fabio Meraldi and all the athletes for a greeting. At the end of the meeting, the team reached the “Acqua Acetosa - Giulio Onesti” Olympic Preparation Center, site of the meeting in the capital. During the last week, as planned by the athletic trainers Luigino Boccolini and Davide Catti, the athletes carried out some functional tests, aimed at verifying their respective coordination and conditional skills and any deficiencies or physical problems.
In addition, field work was carried out with the technicians with sessions for the development of aerobic capacity with running, roller skis, mountain walking and strength and joint mobility work in the gym. During the meeting, there was also the occasion for a meeting with the president of CONI, Giovanni Malagò, who already in the previous weeks had spent important words in view of the inclusion of the discipline in the Olympic program starting from the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
When the Italy of skialp, considering the results of recent years, will aim very strongly for the medals area.

Rulfi rassicura sulla situazione di Goggia: Non sentiva di potersi allenare, ma non c'è stato nulla di traumatico
