The Italy of ski mountaineering is simply dominant. After the 26 medals collected in the world championships in La Massana, the long-distance team world championship, held in Areches-Beaufort, in the French mountains, saw the Azzurri dominate the two races today.
The men's test was won by Michele Boscacci and Davide Magnini, who preceded the Swiss Werner Marti and Remi Bonnet, with the other blue team composed of Nadir Maguet and William Boffelli bronze medal. As for women, success for the couple Alba De Silvestro and Giulia Murada, in front of compatriots Ilaria Veronese and Mara Martini. The French Axelle Gachet-Mollaret and Lorna Bonnel must be satisfied with bronze.
