World Championships 2015 Verbier
Few surprises and many confirmations in the fifth day of the World Championships of Ski Mountaineering, underway in Val de Bagnes. And stock up on new medals for Switzerland, France and Italy in the categories Junior and Cadets.

The race more & rsquo; waiting for the day, Junior Male, foresaw the duel between medals d & rsquo; gold Sprint and Vertical, l & rsquo; Italian Davide Magnini and the Swiss R & eacute; I Bonnet. The two athletes led a race apart, moving side by side along most of the 12km and 1550mt altitude test today; the race is resolved only in the final descent that brings athletes from 2445mt Six Blanc towards Bruson. At the finish line to win R & eacute; I Bonnet with 42 & rsquo; & rsquo; advantage on & rsquo; Italian. To accompany the podium the two rulers, French Swann Juillaguet (gi & agrave; bronze in the test Vertical) reached the finish line with a 6 & rsquo; delay the medal & rsquo; gold. Fourth comeback for Valentino Berry.
In the women's race, the third world medal for Giulia Compagnoni and Alba de Silvestro, gold and silver so & rsquo; as in Vertical. Heavy detachments inflicted immediately to the opponent, with three athletes contending for the bronze medal, won by the French in the final at the expense of Lena Bonnel & rsquo; blue Erica Rodigari, fourth, and of & rsquo; Austrian Verena Streitberger, fifth.
Swiss-Italian podium for the Cadet category, with Andrea Prandi who wins second gold of the event, again at the expense of the Swiss Julien An & ccedil; ay. Third place for the & rsquo; another Italian Davide Gusman. French-two between Cadette, with Justine Tonso triumphing with more & rsquo; 4 & rsquo; lead over compatriot Fanny Meynet-Cordonnier. Excellent third l & rsquo; Italian Giulia Murada, ahead of teammate Melanie Ploner.
