This competition comes straight from Alaska''. Mario Sterli, Paolo and Marco Berni Gregorini have chosen to reproduce, even in Italy, what they saw in the continent of ice. The race consists of a ring circuit to go counter-clockwise to a length
175 km through the territory of the upper Vallecamonica and part of the upper Val di Sole and
Valtellina, with a vertical drop of 7,000 feet between tracks and paths within the Stelvio National Park and Adamello Park.
To participate, you can choose the preferred medium: on foot, ski mountaineering or with the "fat bike", a bike with wide tires very suitable for the snow. There are 30 competitors in this race individual
self-sufficiency, with a time limit of 54 hours. All participants, which might be called the ironman of the snow, were selected by the organizers and will be the test for this new sporting event. L'' edition of that year'' is a great rehearsal, and if everything will be fine, the next year the race will be open to all.
