Val di Fassa is preparing for the new winter season with various innovations including new facilities, improvements to the ski slopes and upgrading of snowmaking systems.

In Canazei, in the Belvedere ski area, the new six-seater chairlift with automatic coupling "Kristiania" will replace the existing chairlift of the same name.
The plant, equipped with protective domes, will travel a 1,289 m long route, with a difference in height of 315 m and an hourly flow of 2,300 people per hour. The new chairlift significantly streamlines the Sellaronda counterclockwise at Passo Pordoi.
In addition, the overhaul of the “Pecol - Col dei Rossi” cableway was completed with replacement of the cabins and work was carried out to upgrade the programmed snow-making system.
In the Buffaure area a new easy branch for the “blue” classification of the “Buffaure di sotto” slope has been created, as an alternative to the “red” classification slope.
Finally, the final section of the "Vajolet 1" slope was modified and the "Vajolet 2" slope in the Ciampedie ski area was enlarged. The snow-making system pertaining to the "Vajolet 2" slope was also renovated.

Argentera
