In the Livigno beach, great success for the Fourth Edition of The Guardian

As a natural location for a funky style event, the Beach Livigno transformed its set-up with a series of "crazy" structures : volcanoes, moguls, berms, water pools, kickers and the unchained monsters who disturbed participants over the entire area, made the race unforgettable.

All the riders of the national team -  Nicola Dioli, Alberto Maffei, Emiliano Lauzi, Davide Boggio, Nicholas Bridgeman, as well as the coach Filippo Kratter took a day-off so not to miss the Guardian.  Jibbers and freeriders as Nicolò Pezzato, Lorenzo Barbieri, Elio Fumagalli and Lorenzo Buzzoni did not resist the recall of the event. And the Swiss athlete Nicolas Huber, who just won the silver medal at the Snowboarding Slopestyle World Championships, showed up unexpectedly.

There was also the opportunity to test the 2017-18 Funky Snowboards that seemingly already won the heart of many riders. The flags of Dragon Alliance and Monster Energy were also stuck in April's snow.

The crowd finally elected the new Guardians. Davide Boggio (snowboarder) and Raffaele Cusini (freeski) were awarded with a ring, symbol of their exploit, forged for the occasion by the underground jewelry store Nove25. This is an award that they will have to defend fiercely in the next edition of the Guardian.
