Madonna di Campiglio, a branch falls on the Grost cable car. Boy falls from the gondola

This morning, at 9 am, a tree branch fell on the cables of the Grostè plant in Madonna di Campiglio. It seems that the branch gave way due to the excessive amount of snow that had settled on it.

Inside the cableway there were three guys from the Bolbeno ski club. The fall of the branch caused the break of the glass and one of the three young men threw himself out of the cabin, falling on the track, fortunately on fresh snow. The boy, fallen from a height of about 5 meters, was taken to the hospital along with the other two companions of the ski club. All three are fine and have no consequences. The unpleasant episode led to the current closure of the lifts and to reimburse the daily ski pass for skiers. The new winter season began yesterday, Saturday 16 November, thanks to the heavy snowfall of the last few days.

Argentera

Argentera
