World Cup big air transferred from Milan to Modena Skipass

After an agreement reached with the FISI and ModenaFiere the FIS announced that the Italian stage of the World Cup big air will be held this year in Modena as part of Skipass, the Tourism and Winter Sports Fair, on the 3rd and November 4.

Therefore this year the Milan stage in the EXPO 2015 era will be replaced by the one in the Emilia region. Within Skipass, which will host the 25th edition from Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 November and which represents the main attraction for winter sports enthusiasts living relatively far from the mountains, the races will be held on the biggest ramp ever built in Italy, 46 meters high and 130 meters long. The one of Modena will be the second big air season after the New Zealand Cardona scheduled from 5 to 8 September, the finals in the capital of the province of Emilia are scheduled on 3 November those of male and female snowboard and 4 that of male freestyle and feminine, all naturally at night. The FIS has not yet specified the date of the four qualifications.
