The season of the alpine snowboard disciplines ends here, with the last two individual races canceled, between the failure to recover in Livigno that should have been held on Tuesday 10, and the final stage of Winterberg. No parallel slalom even in Germany on March 14 (on Sunday 15 there would have been the team race, or in pairs), with the lack of opportunity for Roland Fischnaller to take home all three cups up for grabs. After the conquest of the general and the crystal ball of the parallel giant, in the PSL thus comes the second place for the 39 year old South Tyrolean, behind the Austrian Andreas Prommegger. And in a season finale with all the races of the winter disciplines (and many other sports) at risk due to Coronavirus, doubts also remain for the final stage of the snowboardcross World Cup, scheduled for next weekend in Veysonnaz. Should you not compete in Switzerland, the cup would be arithmetic for Michela Moioli (who would essentially only need to participate in the event to ensure arithmetic), but the mockery for Lorenzo Sommariva would arrive, behind Alessandro Haemmerle for the misery of 10 points.
