An entry expected over two and a half years, from those first days of March 2020 when the first races in Livigno for the Snowboard World Cup of the alpine disciplines, were canceled a few hours after the event, with the pandemic that was coming as a tornado on everyone's lives.
Now the "Little Tibet" can celebrate the official status, after the inclusion in the FIS calendar with the dates initially placed at the beginning of February, to even host the opening of the 2022/23 season: in Valtellina, in fact, will compete on the weekend of 3-4 December, replacing China and opening the CdM before the German stage of Winterberg and the two historic events on Italian snow, in the middle of the month between Carezza and Cortina.
The parallel giant on Saturday 3 December and the PSL on Sunday 4 will essentially be the first official test events in the Milano Cortina 2026 perspective, given that the Olympic Games will be hosted by Livigno as regards the snowboard and freestyle disciplines. As reported by TeleMonteneve, the cup competitions at the beginning of December will be held on the Mottolino side, and certainly the Italian national team will start with all the favors of the forecasts at the male level, with the squadron led by Roland Fischnaller, Edwin Coratti, Aaron March and many other protagonists. , including the "host" Maurizio Bormolini, but also a quality women's team with Nadya Ochner and a young woman on the launch pad, who has grown a lot in the last season between the CdM and the Olympics, which is Lucia Dalmasso.
