The Snowboard World Cup lands in Italy and the blue battleship wants very strongly the first podiums of the season, after a start between lights and shadows last weekend in Bannoye. Mirko Felicetti's fourth place in the PGS in Russia was the best result for the troop of ds Cesare Pisoni, but the ambitions are clearly very high for a group that has won everything in recent years: thus, between Carezza and Cortina d''Ampezzo , in just over 48 hours there will be great chances in the first two home races, a double PGS between Pra di Tori and the Faloria scenario. Thursday will start in South Tyrol, with the great classic of Carezza starting at 9.00 with the qualifications, which will be attended by 15 Azzurri, while the final phase will start at 13.00. The men's team will count on the one who on Pra di Tori won his first PGS in the World Cup 10 years ago, the immense Roland Fischnaller who started the Olympic season with some physical ailments, but already in the Bannoye PSL showed signs important then coming out in the quarter-finals; obviously there will be Aaron March, holder of the crystal ball, a Mirko Felicetti in great shape as well as Daniele Bagozza, then Edwin Coratti, Maurizio Bormolini and young people like Marc Hofer, who won in the European Cup last weekend in Gotschen, Gabriel Messner and Fabian Lantschner. Nadya Ochner, who in Carezza obtained her only individual victory in the World Cup three years ago, will be the reference point of the women's sextet, completed by Lucia Dalmasso, Jasmin Coratti, Elisa Caffont, Elisa Fava and Sofia Valle.
