Roland Fischnaller and the secrets of the blue snowboard, at the center of a "Polygon 360" which dedicated a large part of the reference program of the winter disciplines, proposed by Eurosport every beginning of the week, to the magic of the Italian boards already dominant in the first PGS of the World Cup 2020/21.

The South Tyrolean champion and the national director were guests of yesterday's episode, connected directly by Carezza where the second parallel giant of the season will be staged on Thursday. “Capitan Fisch”, the multi-victorious blue athlete with 19 World Cup successes, at 40 is doing something sensational for longevity, class and continuity. "Arriving in Cortina we did not have the comparison with the rivals, but knowing I was fast with my teammates, I was sure I was competitive at the starting gate - Roland explained - The atmosphere in the team is splendid, also in training we found very good conditions. Fischnaller has many secrets behind him in an ever-growing career: “I'm my personal skiman, let's put it this way, because I immediately feel what works or not and I have a great passion for the care of materials. I waxed the board myself for the first time in 10 years, it is certainly a key to success. And before Cortina, where the worst result for me in seven years is second place, my children teased me by asking me if at 40 I could still win ... ”.
Cesare Pisoni added a detail relating to last Saturday's race: “I recommended the blue track to Roland for the final, plus Aaron had raced on that in the two previous runs he won. Unfortunately Felicetti did not make the same choice in the small final with Karl, otherwise the hat-trick would have been possible (and it would have been the second in history and also in Cortina, where in 2016 there were even four blues in the first four places, ed).
