Blue tables, a gold mine: the World Cup ranking is entirely Italian

After the umpteenth triumph in Rogla, there are four blues in the first four places of the general (and 5 in the 6) with Fischnaller dominant. And now everyone in Piancavallo ...

A gold mine for winter sports in Italy. It is the blue alpine snowboard team (but the same could be true for the snowboardcross protagonists ...), simply dominant in the first half of a record season for the troop led by the director Cesare Pisoni. Today's brace in Rogla's parallel giant, with Edwin Coratti ahead of Roland Fischnaller, set a new double record: the six national team athletes all got on the podium in the first six races of this World Cup, but above all in the first 4 places of the general classification there are only blues. "Captain Fisch" is literally dominant, with 4110 points and the leadership also in the ranking of parallel giant, but behind the 39 year old champion from South Tyrol, here is Maurizio Bormolini (who has always cherished a success that sooner or later will come) with 2228 points and his turns the record in the parallel slalom ranking, then Daniele Bagozza with 2130 lengths and the same Coratti at 2120. And with 5 points less than the German Baumeister, in sixth position there is Mirko Felicetti, with Sobolev, Prommegger, Karl and all the others behind. In twelfth place, the picture is completed by Aaron March, who will be one of the protagonists of the great weekend that Piancavallo will host in the next stage of the World Cup with all his companions: on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 a parallel slalom and the second team parallel (after that of Bad Gastein) of the season, for a great Italian snowboarding party on the Friulian snow.
