Mountain Flavours
It is shortly tains the usual appointment with Open Cellars, now in its twenty-fourth edition. The wineries of the Wine Tourism Movement open their doors to the public on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May, throughout Italy. In the program there are tastings and vineyard tours, which will allow us to know the best of Italian wine production. Among the many participants cellars, there are those in the mountains, where producing wine & egrave; pi & ugrave; difficult, but where are born excellence.

Open Cellars & egrave; one of the pi & ugrave wine tourism events; important 'Italy. Born in 1993, thanks all''adesione of the wineries of the Wine Tourism Movement, this event allows you to open the doors of many wineries to the public, to tell the story of a product and its link with the territory. & Egrave; right from the development of the area which was founded Open Cellars, because & eacute; allows tourists, curious and passionate to live un''esperienza different from the usual and to see first hand the work in the vineyard and in the cellar, and then get to sample the products of this work, often arduous.
The 'event gathers every year more and more & ugrave; accessions, mainly thanks to the complicity & agrave; producers, who welcome the curious at best, telling them about the wine world.
Participating in this event also numerous wineries dell''arco Alpine, from east to west, with mountain wines, often produced in a hostile environment, but by the aromas and flavors.
This weekend you can discover the wines of Valle d' 'Aosta, wander through the steep terraced vineyards of the Valtellina, taste the Trento DOC and the many other wines of Trentino ... you have gi & agrave; chosen your destination? (We recommend that you check the opening hours of each winery).
Like every year, also you can participate in the competition Drink See What sharing your photos in the cellar, to win prizes that allow you to learn more about the Italian wine world.

Dolomiti UNESCO, il bilancio di Banca d'Italia: +9% di pernottamenti senza consumare più territorio
Il paper di Banca d'Italia analizza gli effetti sui flussi turistici e sull'ambiente nei 4 anni successivi all'iscrizione delle Dolomiti nella lista dei Patrimoni Mondiali dell'Umanità, avvenuta nel 2009. A fronte di un incremento delle presenze, il numero di strutture turistiche non è cresciuto e quello di posti letto si è ridotto. Ai maggiori flussi turistici non si è associato né un aumento del consumo di suolo né una maggiore produzione di rifiuti, dimostrando il potenziale del riconoscimento UNESCO nel generare benefici economici locali senza compromettere la qualità ambientale, a condizione che siano in atto un efficace coordinamento istituzionale e solide garanzie normative.
