From 1 to 13 July, Azzurri are in preparation in the Austrian town: "Doro" will work together with the many young people of the group.

The technical director of the Italian biathlon national teams, Klaus Hoellrigl, has chosen Hochfilzen as the venue for the two-week retreat of the elite men's teams and Milano Cortina 2026, together with which Dorothea Wierer will also be present. The Azzurri will train in the Austrian resort, in order to better plan the start of the season, from Friday 1st to Wednesday 13th July. In addition to the South Tyrolean champion, Didier Bionaz, Patrick Braunhofer, Cedric Christille, Daniele Fauner, Tommaso Giacomel, Michele Molinari, David Zingerle and Daniele Cappellari will be present. The team will be under the technical supervision of Fabio Cianciana, Andrea Zattoni, Daniele Piller Roner, Alexander Inderst and Riccardo Romani.
