On the occasion of the FISI Media Day in Milan, Ivana Vaccari announced the news, with Eurosport that remains the reference channel for fans.

Rai Sport "discovers" the world of biathlon and will broadcast the world championships in Anterselva, scheduled from 12 to 23 February 2020.
"The real novelty of the Rai season for winter sports will be the live broadcast of the biathlon World Championships - the words of Vaccari herself - We are negotiating to close the contract with the IBU, next week the letter from the purchasing department will start. We are already working on the broadcasting project, with the races that will go on Rai 2 and in simulcast on Rai Sport. The national biathlon has fascinated us and the athletes have conquered space in the hearts of the Italians ".
If Rai, in the recent past, has practically broadcast the only South Tyrolean stage using Luca Di Bella, a well-known face for the launch studies of athletics events and of the same World Cup in recent seasons, the broadcaster which for years has been following every stage of the maximum circuit and all the major events is clearly Eurosport, which will continue to broadcast every race (at least until 2021/22), including the Anterselva World Championships, live with the voices of Dario Puppo and Massimiliano Ambesi.
Certainly an excellent news for the whole movement and the interest that it can generate at the level of commercial support and not only, with the Azzurri who propose themselves with many medal chances. The world championship appointment was presented by the same secretary of the organizing committee of Anterselva, Erika Pallhuber, in the FISI meeting: "For the World Cup we made big investments, with the new press center, the expansion of the parking lots, of the tribunes and of the polygon.
The Province of Bolzano has made available 7 million euros, 1 came from the municipality of Rasun and 3 from the same committee. We are ready for the event and we hope that Italy, in these years so strong in discipline, can look great â€.
