The Anterselva stage of the Biathlon World Cup opens with a women's individual made selective by the weather conditions. The contenders for the World Cup are reeling as Dorothea Wierer closes in fourth place and Lisa Vittozzi close to tenth position.

The 27-year-old from Kitzbuehel, Lisa Theresa Hauser (0-0-1-0) puts the seal on the first victory in the season of her explosion with the three podiums of the last two weeks in Oberhof. The Austrian scores the fourth fastest time on skis, just 20 seconds behind the large displacements Herrmann, Roeiseland and Eckhoff. For her, an advantage of 43.7 seconds over the Ukrainian Yulia Dzhima (0-0-0-0) at the finish line, archiving the only zero 20/20 days.
Anais Chevalier is third (0-0-0-1) after fighting for the victory until the last shooting session; the fatal mistake cost her a gap of 1.04.0 from the winner on arrival.
Dorothea Wierer (1-0-0-1) loses the opportunity to get on the podium with a decisive mistake at the last polygon that thwarts her long and fruitful chase after the mistake in the first session. The blue, fifth fastest on skis 35 seconds behind the best, accuses a delay of 1.15.1 and precedes the German Janine Hettich by 8 seconds (0-0-0-1).
