Eleven months before the World Championships, the stars of biathlon return to the snows of Anterselva for the seventh stage of the World Cup. Tomorrow at 2.15pm the women's individual will open the long weekend of racing. Five blue at the start.

Dorothea Wierer, who for the occasion will wear the red bib as leader of the specialty classification by virtue of the victory obtained at the beginning of the season in Kontiolahti, has chosen to start in the second group and will have 38. Same choice for the Swedes Elvira and Hanna Oeberg , respectively at the start with the bib number 26 and 40, for the Belarusian Dzinara Alimbekava (28) and for the Austrian Lisa Theresa Hauser (35).
Instead, the three leading Norwegians and the Germans opted for the first starting group: Franziska Preuss (6), Marte Roeiseland (8), Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold (10), Tirill Eckhoff (13), Denise Herrmann (14). The race will therefore be animated right from the start. With high bibs, it will be necessary to keep an eye on the French Anais Bescond (67) and the Belarusian Hanna Sola (73).
Five blue are present: in addition to Wierer there will be Federica Sanfilippo (15) and Lisa Vittozzi (27). The news are instead Michela Carrara (50) and Nicole Gontier (93), both returning after a few races in the Alpen Cup and Ibu Cup. For them it will be an important test in view of the Relay and the World Championship. Rest period after the efforts of Oberhof for Irene Lardschneider.
