Doping, comes the sentence for Gottlieb Taschler and son Daniel with your doctor Michele Ferrari

After almost a year and a half, in Bolzano came to an end the first trial against Gottlieb Taschler, son of Daniel and the doctor Michele Ferrari. All three defendants were found guilty.

Gottlieb Taschler was sentenced to one year of imprisonment and a 4,000 euro fine for complicity in the crime of taking performance-enhancing drugs, was also banned for life from the sport hold any office in the field of Fisi or cones. The judge Carlo Busato also recognized a compensation of 15,000 euro to Wada, constituted civil part. The lawyers of the convicts have already announced an appeal. For Taschler the sentence by the criminal law is in addition to those already issued on the sports floor by CONI. Both in the first and second instance Gottlieb was inhibited 2 years for "Providing assistance, encouragement and help, instigate conceal or ensure any other type of intentional complicity in reference to any violation or attempted violation of the NSA". The son Daniel instead at first instance was banned two years for "use or attempted use of a prohibited substance or a prohibited method", then giving up to the second degree.
