Dorothea Wierer gives show to the polygon with Tarjei Boe, then the first test in the race with an excellent Vittozzi

The penultimate day of the BlinkFestivalen was one of the most anticipated of the program, with the debut of the two blue biathlon stars.

Dorothea Wierer and Lisa Vittozzi have not failed to give show to the polygon and on roller skis, with the winner of the 2018/19 World Cup that dominated in the opening polygon trial, to challenge Tarjei Boe (who had folded Martin Fourcade) among many laughter (the photo you see speaks clearly ...) and a top-up that will reward the eldest brother of the CdM winner, who then returns a little later ... It was done seriously, and how, in the Sandnes race that saw at the start many of the protagonists of the maximum circuit; to impose the Swedish Hanna Oeberg, who had the best sprint over fellow countryman Mona Brorsson, who made a mistake less (2 to 3), but made a mistake at the last polygon by being resumed dall''iridata individual of Ostersund. In 3rd place Marte Olsbu Roeiseland, at 4 errors as Tiril Eckhoff, beaten in the sprint for the podium that saw also Lisa Vittozzi fight, in resounding comeback after a start from 6 errors in the first two polygons. Eighth, however, the same Doro Wierer seconded by 26 seconds and also with 6 errors, concluding however in front of Tandrevold, Makarainen, Davidova and Kuzmina, who enjoyed a champion's catwalk. Among the boys, the first season was enough to give life to the duel between Johannes Thingnes Boe and Martin Fourcade: the Norwegian had the better for 1 "4, with the transalpine who made an extra mistake (3 to 2). Third Jaquelin, detached by 5 "6, and double seasonal debut at home with Dominik Windisch (at the end of the 11th at 1''09") and Thomas Bormolini. FUND SHOW WITH FOSSESHOLM Simply sensational, the one that combined 18-year-old Norwegian Helene Marie Fossesholm in the female 10 km mass start, a small phenomenon in Scandinavian sport as the girl is preparing for the junior mountain bike world championships, and was able to overcome in the sprint Anastasia Sedova and a certain Maiken Caspersen Falla ... In the men's 15 km, Federico Pellegrino and Francesco De Fabiani also started the engines (the latter had already debuted in the 60 km classic last Wednesday, ed). For the vice world champion in the sprint, 18th place finish in the volatona from which the winner was Haavard Solaas Taugboel, who folded Skar and Stadaas, while DeFa finished seventh, ahead of Gros and Fossli. Saturday at Sandnes the grand finale, with sprints in free technique and supersprints with the biathletes again engaged in the summer event par excellence.
