Back from the successes in the Pursuit of Le Grand Bornand and in the Sprint of Pokljuka, Elvira Oeberg is looking for another victory and the yellow bib of leader of the general classification of the World Cup, currently on the shoulders of Julia Simon, who leads the ranking with 61 lengths of margin on the young Swede.

The Scandinavian will have an advantage of only 7" over her rival, while Wierer with bib number 3 pays 19", ahead of the Slovak Batovska-Fialkova, Marketa Davidova and Denise Herrmann-Wick by a few seconds.
From behind, Tandrevold (9a at 46”), Hauser and Marte Roeiseland will attempt the comeback, both about a minute behind the summit. For Italy there will also be Samuela Comola, who finished the Sprint in the points, 39th at 1'55", and Federica Sanfilippo, who did well in her season debut in the World Cup finishing 47th at 2'03". Lisa Vittozzi and Rebecca Passler did not qualify.
