World Earth Day, IBU launches the "Biathlon Climate Challenge" with Dorothea Wierer

The international federation involved in the initiative, valid from 1 to 15 May, ten athletes of the maximum circuit including the blue. Here's what it is.

Today, Thursday 22 April, on the occasion of the World Earth Day, the IBU has launched a new campaign entitled "Biathlon Climate Challenge", which will start next May 1st and end on 15th of the same month. The initiative involves ten of the greatest interpreters of the World Cup circuit, including Dorothea Wierer (with the DOROWI code). What is it about? The campaign will be developed on social channels thanks to the interactivity created with fans from all over the world; Supporters are asked to choose a team and track through an application, the physical activity of those two weeks, which will convert the calories burned or the distances traveled into the number of trees useful for a reforestation project. Together with the tip of the blue movement, Franziska Preuss, Susan Dunklee, Olena Pidhrushna, Regina Oja, Johannes Dale, Emilien Jacquelin, Sebastian Samuelsson, Jakov Fak and Jules Burnotte are involved in the challenge.
