The biathlon blues fly to Beitostolen: in Norway the finish before Kontiolahti

The big players of the blue biathlon begin the long trip that will lead them, next month, to face the first commitments of the winter season with the opening of the World Cup in their sights. The new technical director of the national team, Klaus Hoellrigl, organized the last meeting scheduled for the 11 athletes who, from this weekend until Thursday 17 November, will work on the snows of Beitostolen. In Norway, where there will also be the main appointment of the pre-season, namely the Lillehammer races (originally scheduled in Sjusjoen) on November 12-13, all the reference points of the blue team will be at work, which will then face the first stop at the start from the end of the month in Kontiolahti. Dorothea Wierer and Lukas Hofer, who are part of the elite group, will then join Lisa Vittozzi, Didier Bionaz, Patrick Braunhofer, Tommaso Giacomel, David Zingerle, Daniele Cappellari, Samuela Comola, Michela Carrara and Rebecca Passler. The group will be under the technical supervision of Alexander Inderst, Fabio Cianciana, Jonne Kahkonen, Andrea Zattoni, Riccardo Romani, Luca D''Incau, Giorgio Di Centa, Mattia Nicase, Christian Favre and Simone Biondini.
