The Finnish Biathlon federation announced that it has found a replacement for Jari Karinkanta recently not confirmed in his role because of the bad results of the men's team. It is Marko Laaksonen, which incorporates a role already covered in the past.

The thirty-nine had Finland led the biathlon 2002 to 2005 before moving to Sweden, where he is become a prominent engineer in Östersund.
In 2011 he took the place of Wolfgang Pichler at the helm of the Swedish women's team, leaving his role just a few weeks ago.
Now Laaksonen is back at home and will responsibility to follow the team'' approach in the World Championships in Kontiolahti house. His contract is two years, more a'' option for the other two.
Nothing will change for the spearhead of the movement, Kaisa Mäkäräinen, who now trains in 2010 independently with its own staff team.
