The Austrian Felix Leitner, who will try to make a further leap in quality after an excellent year, will open the dance. To see the big guns on the track, we won't have to wait long, with bib number 8 there will be Arnd Peiffer, who will precede Johannes Dale (9), Andrejs Rastorgujevs (10) and Jakov Fak (11). With the 15th it will be the turn of the highly anticipated Emilien Jacquelin (15), who together with his team mates Simon Desthieux (18) and Quentin Fillon Maillet (23) will try not to make the French fans regret the retirement of Martin Fourcade. However, France presents itself to Kontiolahti as a reference nation together with Norway. Among the Scandinavians Tarjei Boe will compete with 17 while his brother Johannes has drawn 26 and will start shortly before the Swedish Samuelsson (30) and the German Doll (33). Three blues at the start: Lukas Hofer (23), Didier Bionaz (50) and Patrick Braunhofer (80). In the women's test, scheduled for 14:20, there will be 5 Italians at the start. With bib number 2 Nicole Gontier will take to the track, preceding the Norwegian Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold at the start.
