Tomorrow the two departures in line will close the fifth stage of the 2018/19 World Cup. At 12.15 the men's competition will start, at 2.40 pm the female one.

As stated in each test, 30 athletes will be at the start, the first 25 of the overall World Cup standings plus the top five in the current stage.
Among the men for Italy, Lukas Hofer will be in the race, 11th overall. In the women's competition will be protagonists instead Dorothea Wierer and Lisa Vittozzi, respectively 1a and 2a of the general classification. Federica Sanfilippo is on the waiting list, who, due to the negative performance in the Sprint, has left the top 25.
In the only previous season of Nove Mesto the successes went to Johannes Boe, ahead of Fillon Maillet and Garanichev, and to Kuzmina, who preceded Paulina Fialkova and Chevalier.
