STORIAAnterselva pu & ograve; be called the second of the two "Great classic" Because of the biathlon & eacute; hosted the Women's World Cup races in all seasons with the 'exception of 1988 -' '89.
& Egrave; was for & ograve; often the scene of recoveries and consequently & egrave; become over the years the resort & agrave; where & egrave; played the highest number of top-level competitions.
In the women there are about 67 (18 fifteen kilometers, 27 sprint, 13 chases, 9 mass start), six with iridescent value. In fact, women have played in South Tyrol only two editions of the World Cup (1995, 2007) as those of 1975 and 1983 were reserved for men.
Are 35 athletes to have won at least victory. Last year Andrea Henkel & egrave; managed to become the woman with pi & ugrave; successes to share touching Antholz 6 statements, including 'World Championship gold in the mass start of 2007.
The impressive figure sull''atleta Gro & szlig; breitenbach, retired in March last year, concerns the fact that it was able to establish itself in 14 years! In fact won the first success nell''inseguimento of 22 January 2000, and the 'last in the 18 January 2014.
Curiously Henkel has excelled in races exclusively online (2 mass start and 4 chases). The French Corinne Niogret (5 wins) & egrave; instead the only one to have set in all formats.

Then come Sweden, Russia and Bulgaria (5); Ukraine and Belarus (3); Czechoslovakia, the Soviet Union, Community & agrave; Independent States and Slovakia (1).
L & rsquo; Italy in Antholz boasts one podium, signed by Nathalie Santer, third in & rsquo; individual held January 21, 1993 behind the Bulgarian Iva Karagiozova and Canadian Myriam Bedard.
