"Bob & Skeleton Open Push Day", in Milan the fourth stage of the initiative to discover talents

Appointment Saturday 30 April at the civic arena "G. Brera" for a new test session with the national team technicians.

The recruitment campaign for the Italian skeleton and bobsleigh teams on an artificial track continues at full speed and with success. After the appointments in Padua, Imola and Albisola (SV) of the past weeks, which registered the participation of about fifty candidates, it will be held on Saturday 30 April in Milan, at the “G. Brera ", in viale Byron 2 from 1.00 pm, a new test session that is part of the" Bob & Skeleton Open Push Day "project, an important opportunity for those wishing to face the adventure of two of the most adrenaline-pumping disciplines of the Federation Italian Winter Sports. The tests are organized by the technicians of the Italian national teams and include speed, strength and thrust tests thanks to the use of a simulator trolley and so far has seen the participation of young people aged between 18 and 22, mainly from the '' athletics and weightlifting. The minimum physical requirements required to access the tests are as follows: as regards the "Elite" category of the bobsleigh, men must be at least 1.85 tall, weigh between 90 and 110 kg and be born between 1990 and 2000. Same dates of birth also for women, for which a minimum height of 1.70 and a weight between 70 and 78 kg is required. Then there is the "Development" category, both for the bobsleigh and for the skeleton, aimed at the youngest talents, born between 2000 and 2004. In this case, men must have a height greater than 1, 80 and a weight between 75 and 80 kg. For women you need a height of at least 1.65 and a weight over 62 kg.
