Another race and another victory. Francesco Friedrich repeats, with even more authority, the success of Saturday and with that of today there are 3 out of 3 seasonal affirmations in the four-man bob, for 50 overall victories for the German phenomenon.
In second place, as happened 7 days ago in St. Moritz, the crew of the Austrian Benjamin Maier with a second run at the levels of Friedrich. Lochner is forced, also due to imperfections in the first run, to be satisfied with the 3rd step of the podium and precedes compatriot Hafer by just 3 cents. The Canadian Kripps and the Latvian Melbardis are more detached. The blue crew in the race, made up of Baumgartner / Fantazzini / Verginer / Pagnini scores a discreet 14th place finish.
In the women's two-man bobsled race, victory for Kim Kalicki. After a not too clean first run where the gap from the top contains, the German places a perfect second descent which, also thanks to the gross errors of teammate Schneider (2nd) and of the American Elana Meyers-Taylor (3rd), allows you to finish the race in the lead by hitting the first victory of the season.
In fourth place the Canadian De Bruin followed by the cup leader, the Austrian Beierl who, with one race from the end, maintains a 51-point advantage over today's winner. The only blue crew on the track today was Andreutti / Shenk, who finished the test in 18th place.
