The FISI obtained access to the facility that hosted the Turin 2006 Olympic Games, for a total of 20 days of training on the push piston.

An important agreement, the one signed between the Italian Winter Sports Federation and Parcolimpico SRL, the manager of the Olympic bobsleigh, skeleton and luge track in Cesana Pariol, which hosted the competitions of the 2006 Turin Olympics.
The blue teams of the World Cup will in fact be able to use the thrust piston exclusively until Thursday 1 October, for a total of 20 days of training in a decisive phase of preparation, before starting the actual tests on the track. The first teams to exploit the Piedmontese structure are those of the World Cup and the European Skeleton Cup, engaged throughout the period with Manuel Schwaerzer, Mattia Gaspari, Valentina Margaglio, Alessia Crippa, Gabriele Marenchino, Pietro Drovanti, Alessandra Fumagalli, Elena Scarpellini, Marvin Moscara and Francesco Pellicani, under the guidance of the technical director Maurizio Oioli and the coaches Milko Campus and Andrea Gallina.

The training facility has always had a fundamental technical value in sports terms and for this reason it has been maintained over the years in full functional efficiency ".
"The agreement allows us to have a training center in Italy in a particularly important period of the season to refine the preparation - said Federal President Flavio Roda - Bobsleigh, luge and skeleton athletes will have the opportunity to train profitably, I thank Parcolimpico SRL for the availability shown and I hope there will be further forms of collaboration in the future ". Armin Zoeggeler, technical director of sledding, is also satisfied, who has always won during his career in the races held in Cesana Pariol, where he also won an Olympic title and a world title. “This track has given me fantastic emotions and indelible memories - recalls the South Tyrolean champion - I still have fresh memories of the 2006 title in front of our fans. It is important to take advantage of the pistino to consolidate our drive, we will make the most of this opportunity ”.
