After two defeats in series, the Azzurri dominated the morning match with the Germans, remaining in the running in the European Championship round robin.

The Italy of curling does not give up, indeed. Joel Retornaz and companions, beating Germany with a clear 10-3 in the game of the fourth session of the competition for the continental show in Helsingborg, are fully in contention for a place in the semifinals.
The Geneva-born skip, on the ice along with Sebastiano Arman, Amos Mosaner and Simone Gonin, dragged the national team to success against the Teutonic, arrived after the two defeats in series, against battleships of the caliber of Scotland and Sweden, which had followed instead to the winning debut signed by beating Russia.
Monday afternoon, from 4.00 pm, a crucial match for the blue destinies in this European: Italy will indeed challenge Norway, also at altitude after two successes, for a head-on collision halfway through the journey of this first phase which sees Sweden with a full score with four wins, Scotland and Switzerland with three and, of course, the Azzurri, the Scandinavians and Germany with two wins each.
