A rich weekend with Retornaz and stage mates at the Swiss Cup, while the girls of the Club Dolomiti Almaviva, led by Stefania Constantini, will be engaged in Estonia.

Two weeks after the start of the European Championships scheduled in Oestersund, the blue curling is back on the ice in the last valid weekend to refine the state of form in view of the important continental event.
The Retornaz Team, representing the Italian national team, will compete in the Swiss Cup in Basel, the World Curling Tour appointment, while the Constantini Team, with the colors of the Dolomiti Almaviva Club, will take part in the Tallinn Ladies Challenger, also an appointment of the international circuit. The team made up of Joel Retornaz (Fiamme Oro), Amos Mosaner (Aeronautica Militare), Sebastiano Arman (Aeronautica Militare) and Mattia Giovanella (Fiamme Oro), fresh from the unbeaten success in the Bern Grand Prix, will again be engaged in Switzerland where he will find an even more aggressive frame of opponents than last week with, among others, also the Swiss team Schwaller and the two best Scottish teams, the one led by skip Mouat and that of Whyte. "We face this last competition before the Europeans trying to confirm the good form of the moment and with the opportunity to experiment with new strategies and tactical variants in a high-level event", the words of the Technical Director of the national teams, Claudio Pescia.
Team Ribotta (Fabio Ribotta, Alberto Pimpini, Fabrizio Gallo, Stefano Gilli, Francesco Vigliani) will also take to the ice in Basel. Team Colli (Giacomo Colli, Edoardo Alfonsi, Francesco De Zanna, Alberto Zisa) will instead be involved in Canada in the Curling Series of Alberta.
For women, the line-up composed of the Olympic champion Stefania Constantini (Fiamme Oro), Angela Romei (Fiamme Oro), Marta Lo Deserto (C.C. Dolomiti) and Giulia Zardini Lacedelli (Curling Club Dolomiti) takes part in Estonia in the 18-team competition that it will serve to give continuity to the beautiful path of the Italian athletes, on the podium last week at the Sundbyberg Open in Sweden. “In this last preparation tournament before the European Championships we will fine-tune the details trying to gather good sensations in view of the most important appointment of the first part of the season. We did three days of training here in Tallinn on quality ice and the girls are ready for the challenge ”, the words of coach Violetta Caldart.
