Following tradition, the first title that will be awarded during the European Championships in Zagreb will be the one of the pairs of art.

Right now, fifteen couples were enrolled, representing ten countries, three less than the previous edition. The colors will be defended by Italians Stefania Berton / Ondrej Hotarek and debutants Nicole Della Monica / Matthew Guarise

Among the competing couples, European stocks have Savchenko / Szolkowy (2007/2008/2009/2011), Kavaguti / Smirnov (2010) and Volosozhar / Trankov (2012), while Stolbova / Klimov have filed a third place finish last season.
