Jade Russo has deservedly won the first national title of his career on every front outclassing the competition.

The seventeen year old Torino (162.42), after tax in the short program, has dominated the segment pi & ugrave; long race closing the competition by a margin of more than twenty points on athletes that & rsquo; have accompanied on the podium, but, as seen on the ice of the Palavela, the gap would have been even higher. Nell & rsquo; occasion, & egrave; revealed huge difference in terms of personality & agrave ;, & agrave safety and quality; overall skating. L & rsquo; pupil of Edward De Bernardis and Claudia Masoero, supported constantly by the home crowd, he performed in the free program two double axel and four triple jumps, including a salchow landed with step-out, but above & egrave; was again superb on steps and spins storing the best technical score and assessment pi & ugrave; high on each component of the program. However, in view of upcoming international events, sar & agrave; essential to monitor carefully the rotations of the jumps, often to the limit. Roberta Rodeghiero (141.55), favorite of the eve, you & egrave; had to settle for second place managing to precede a & rsquo; gluing the companion of club Micol Cristini (141.14), which had the merit to bounce back after a shock start the program for free, characterized by falling on a triple toe loop and a Rittberger simple. The seventeen year old from Bergamo & egrave; then was able to complete two double axel in sequence and three triple jumps, showing a & rsquo; important growth on the elements of spinning over the short-program. Rodeghiero, appeared decidedly more & ugrave; tense than the competition, skated the worst free program of a season that so far l & rsquo; he had expressed views on discrete levels of competitiveness & agrave ;. In particular, he again paid duty on the triple flip, landed with a step-out, and, except for a triple lutz from the wire very suspicious, for a sequence triple toe loop / double axel and for another double axel, has garnered little with elements jump, now also home concicio sine qua non to play a leading role. Russian aside, the happy note of the second day & egrave; was the sixteen year old Sara Casella (138.11), rising from ninth to fourth place in virt & ugrave; the second score in the free program. The sixteen Courmayeur has performed in opening a & rsquo; excellent combination triple lutz / double toe loop and, in addition to spinning tops quality & agrave ;, has put together two double axel and three triple jumps well completed. Fifth place & egrave; went to fifteen Chiara Calderone (133.57), athlete pi & ugrave; young and groped in the race capable of completing two triple lutz, the first of which in combination with a double toe loop. Afterwards, you & egrave; placed the veteran Sara Falotico (128.83), which preceded the national junior champion Maria Guia Tagliapietra (126.12), penalized by two fall over on as many attempts triple salchow, who thwarted the execution of two discrete double axel and two triple lutz. In the men, Ivan Righini (206.80) repeated her success twelve months ago, but in the free program has not shone, falling on the triple axel and revealing unusual steps to empty of flip and lutz, normally the strengths . The twenty-three of the Russian school preceded the young Matthew Rizzo (185.80), author of the best technical score in the segment pi & ugrave; long race. The sixteen year stationed in Sesto San Giovanni has well completed a double axel and six triple jumps, including two two flip and lutz, running smoothly even the top combo that had somehow compromise the short program. In this case, has largely paid the conservative strategy with the renunciation of the combination with two triple jumps proposed recently in Sofia. Ci & ograve; Accordingly, l & rsquo; & egrave impression; that the overall potential is greater than emerged today. In third position, you & egrave; placed the eighteen year old Carlo Vittorio Palermo (169.08), who, abandoned by triple jumps, has missed the train of Rizzo in the free program. At the foot of the podium & egrave; attested in the comeback eighteen Giorio Settembrini (150.24), able to complete a double axel and five triple jumps, fundamental to override Mattia Dalla Torre (148.43) and Dario Betti (133.78).
