The first declarations of the pairs medalists in the Dance of the World Junior Championships in progress at the Ice Stadium Agora of Milan.

Alexandra Stepanova / Ivan Bukin (RUS), 2013 Junior World Champions:
"It'' I am delighted we also won the Junior Worlds after a season that has given us so much satisfaction. It 's like the cream on the cake, it makes everything more beautiful and sweet. We had a good performance and we did what we had to do even though we made some mistakes especially in lifting also due to a small injury that I suffered in the morning.
Sabbiamo still not exactly where we will spend in the senior category, but in Russia the competition is so great and so we await the decisions and recommendations of the federation. We already know that we should work four times harder to be competitive at the top among seniors but it did not scare us at all. We will work on our physical strength, our mental strength and technique. I do not feel the weight of my father's name, because as a child I always hated skating and only over time I began to love the dance. "
Gabriella Papadakis / Guilleaume Cizeron (FRA), silver medal at the Junior World'', 2013:
"It'' our first medal at the World Junior Championships and is the same metal as the Grand Prix Final, but it makes us doubly proud because of the difficulties we had to overcome here. This morning I hurt my ankle in the warm up on the steps in the heating and the hours passed, the condition of my ankle has become more and more critical after lunch so that I could no longer walk. Our free dance is a very hard from the physical point of view and after the sequence of twizzle I felt so much pain, as if something had broken. The judge has granted us three minutes, but I was afraid that everything was blurred but only thanks to the strength of will I managed to finish the program for Guilleaume. He and I have worked so hard and it was not fair to lose all that. Next year we'll definitely category because we might struggle to qualify for the Olympic Games thanks to the level that there is not exceptional in France at this time. We have not decided anything about the music and themes of our plans for next season. In a few weeks we will begin to work with our choreographers to create original and entertaining programs, such as those that have always distinguished us. "

"'' It was a wonderful season. We performed to the best of our ability the exercise and scores of efforts have paid off. The senior will spend next season because we will not be eligible among the juniors. We are absolutely convinced that it is a big step for our future!
